Thought you'd like to see what Grampa has been doing today. He's getting the swing re-hung for the little children who will be moving into our house :(
That is a true John Watson maneuver. Being a good man all the way past what was expected. Love you guys. Way to be a Stallion Dad!!. By the way, that compliment was always used with breeding purposes in mind. And since you have 10 children and a gaggle of grand children, I think that Stallion is even more qualified after all.
Holy cow, Ramona, it scares me when he does that!!
I'm sure this family is going to love your new deck too, and it will be nice for a bunch of kids to play in the woods again. (now *there* was a swing!)
I think I would just worry about the liability of that swing. It really really surprises me that no one ever died on that thing. Maybe that is what made it so much fun.
We have to ask ourselves if any "normal" parents are actually going to let their kids swing on that swing!!!!! Since most of Dads own kids had at least one near death experiance because of it. And then living with a lawyer, I would ask if the swing could be a legal liability. . . . . . .You might want to get the new owners to sign something iron clad about how if their kids choose to use any and all entertainment devices left on the property. . . . .

you must be a very brave woman! What a nice guy you have there who is willing to get his house "ready" in this way for the new owners.

So, does this mean the house is sold and it's a done deal?
