It's a big, huge tracto !!!
This is going to turn into one of Matthew's Christmas presents. He is sooooo in love with tractors at this point that I am truly wishing I still had Robby and John's old wallpaper back! For one of his presents, I am taking this shot and making it poster sized. Then I will be taking other tractor pictures from our house building experience and making them 8X10 or 4X6 putting them into dollar store frames and putting them on his wall. I think he will love it!

Andra, that IS the most amazing picture ever! And I love the idea.
That is the coolest picture EVER! I think that if you can't find similar frames at the dollar store (Walmart usually has $3 8x10 frames if you need that size) then I would spray paint them all black--then you'll have uniformity and it will help your grouping be cohesive. That and putting the pictures close together... :)
So cute!
1) he is a boy
2) he is a small boy
3) groupings only matter to women
4) boys like to decorate differently than moms
:)
Better yet, paste the poster on the wall and make it into wall paper
Ha Ha. Cindy, have you hit him yet????
thanks Russ. they just don't understand.
How do you think Emily will respond to me decorating our new apartment by hanging my R/C airplane from the chandelier?
Russ. You really are hilarious! But it is true! If he had his way he would "play" with the picture until it was a balled up mess of crumpled paper on the floor. Fortunately he does have a mom who will take the time to make it look interesting, artistic, and keep it out of his reach!
You know, I've decided that the contrast is so good in that picture that it almost looks faked!
And no, I haven't kicked Russ yet. But I will now!
I agree about the fake look of the picture. I did edit my shadow off of the bottom of the tractor and did a very poor job of it, but the rest is real!
The funniest part is that Bob wanted the picture because of one his parents had taken of he and his sibs on a tractor when they were little. So I took this one. He told me I got it all wrong and took another one that is only a c in comparison. Ah well, I can't fix a car, so I guess we're even.
I want to see his version!
aunt pam and i were talking... when were these pictures taken... she contends that it can't be recently... too warm looking.
p.s. i found that em and i's pictures for our engagement were taken in sunlight-from-behind... i love how those turned out... kinda like the first picture here.
looking forward to Thanksgiving-
sam.
ps. that was a slight... jab to the eastern family.. that's right. enjoy yours too!
Sam,
Those pictures would have been taken in July/August of 2007 when we were just starting on the house.
I am so jealous that you are staying with Aunt Pam. It makes me want to shirk all my responsibilities and come stay too!
