Okay, I want a puppy like that.
his name is buddy... and we've wanted him for the past 4.8 years...
he's a miniature daschund. Needy is his take on life so far... but super duper cute.
If only they could potty train as easily as our Marvin J (cat) did!

Hey, a needy puppy is probably really good practice for a baby one day. Just ask Jeremy!

Buddy is sleeping on my chest right now... and has been for about an hour and a half... he is so tiny, and super dooper cute.
he's getting less excessive in his needyness.. and that is wonderful.

My answer?
When you grow up and have your own house!
i don't remember any of our dogs back home being quite so needy... of course, he let us sleep through the night without even a wimper on night three. i guess night 1 was just him being very scared of a new place... so... we're happy, and he's so dang cute.
but he is taking SO MUCH ATTENTION.
Somehow you must keep all traces of this dog, both electronic or real away from Cali, or you shall suffer Jenny's wrath.
