This is Maria's second anniversary present. Since Addie is now always on the floor I have given Maria a hand with keeping it clean. A robot for Honey. We have really enjoyed it so far and it is getting all sorts of nasty off our floors.
They are pricey but I did some mad wheeling and dealing and got it over $110 off. Since we left our vacume in Utah we needed one and this was a way to free up some time, keep the floor clean and be sweet to my beautiful wife all at once.
Ok so Maria wants me to admit that since it is a bit unusual, this was actually our Mothers day / Fathers day / Anniversary gift we've been saving up for a while.

I've always wanted to know if those really worked - and if they could keep up with 8 or so kids!
So far it is fantastic. We programmed to run every night at 2:00 am. So we pickup before we go to bed and have freshly vacumed floors every morning. As for if it works we are on new carpets here and now have 2 garbage bags full of fluff and dirt so, thus far it is fantastic.
That is really cool. But how do you keep it from going off of the carpet?
it vacumes hardwood also. so we dont worry about it. however it comes with two devices that send signals and make infared lines it cant crosws if we wanna contain it

So fun! My chiro. in Philly had 2 of those, one for upstairs, and one for down! I think you guys have a great system of clearing the floor each evening and then letting the vacuum have at it. Is it loud?
WAY quieter than a vacuum louder than a computer. Yah our house has been like a a Bajillion percent cleaner since the robot. I would say well worth the money. You do have to empty it's little bin frequenlyish. We are on new carpet so the fuzz is causing alot of bin emptying but its way less nasty than vacume bag. So all in all Fantastic Aniversarry/mothers/fathers day gift
I have two little robots that push the vacuum around, but we actually put them in bed so it doesn't get done like maybe it should.
This might be a good idea for our house since nobody likes to vacuum around here. Are the new models much better than the old ones?
