Welcome to Watson blogland, Jeannie!
Well, I finally finished this quilt I've been working on forever, so I thought I'd celebrate by posting pictures of it. I was home sick from church on Sunday, so I stitched the last of the binding, all of which I did by hand.
I mean, I'm no Jenny, but I'm proud of it anyway.

Amber, that is so beautiful! Cindy Lynn and I are wondering if there is anything you *don't* do??? ;)
So Jack (of all trades), did you quilt it or is it machine quilted? It looks amazing. I love how the material is "lumpy." Those are my favorite quilts ever. Good job and a long project finished!
Hey, nice trick! I just noticed that you 'quilt' is only about the size of a postage stamp! Better luck next time!
Laila, the quilting is machine-stitched. And in response to the collective Cindy's question, yes. There are many things. Like swimming and math. Also, as Val and Jeannie can attest, I cannot play video games to save my life! I think when we were there last time Will beat me at 007.
Thanks for letting me know about the quilting, because the word "forever" means two very different things if it is machine quilted or hand quilted! I cannot imagine hand quilting! The piecing looks perfect though!
so, are you going to hang it, or sleep with it or put it in a hope chest?
It was actually suppoised to be my brother's wedding gift....they were married a year ago last Novemeber.
Well, it sound like you are right in time!
Seems to have a cool texture. Definitely took some time. Nice work.
