Christmas Bliss

Lilly's supersweet expression here tells exactly how our Christmas went this year. Although this is our first Christmas without traveling to be with family in 9 years we had success finding our own way, traditions and fun!

Hands down, this was our favorite present this year! A full arsenal of NERF guns for the whole family! We built forts, we covered each others back, we even invited friends!

Believe it or not, we had the privilege of having Santa over for dinner for our second year in a row. Our kids our 100% full believers in Santa!

As you may have guessed, Brent got a new massage chair that everyone enjoyed!

Your family picture looks so great! I am glad your family liked the nerf guns. What a fun time. Val sent us a set for our family, it only has one gun, but we have all taken turns with it. John's favorite gift was a mechanical bug that walks (like a big spider) and it has nerf bullets hidden in it's back. We love it, but it terrifies the little kids!

Oh, Val sent us the huge magnetix things, which they also love. I happened to find the cross bow Nerf guns at Target clearanced out for $5, so I bought 3. One we gave to HUnters neighbor friend for his B-day, and then Brent and Hunter got the other two for Christmas. Then one of Carrie boyfriends here gave her the two smaller guns for her birthday while she was here, and when she left she wrapped them and gave them to Hunter for Christmas. When H's friend came over to play he brought his 2 guns, that plus our 4 and we had more than enough! Did you notice that in our family pic we are sitting in front of our free piano??

Cindy, the best part of that dress is that I found it at a thrift shop a couple months ago for $3or$4!
