Every afternoon when I look out at my "garden" I think that the squash & pumpkin plants have died. At first it really scared me. But then after the sun goes behind the trees they start to perk up, and by evening they look normal again. It's wild. And it's got me thinking. I'm sure there's a gospel object lesson here! What do you guys think?

Jeannie, are you ready to come to the beach yet?
There are still one or two extra rooms!

Now I am completely stressed out about my new calling...or did I tell you I was released as Young Womens President! I am sad to go! And I was only the president for 4 years!

So now I am on to prepare for my next calling, that I told them I couldn't do without Val's help. So,
they called us both as...
SEMINARY teachers!

At least I still get to spend time with my wonderful Young Women of the Ward!

Jeannie,
Did I read correctly, that you were ONLY YW President for 4 years???? I was only in that calling for 2 1/2 years and loved it even though I was exhausted all of the time.
Do you and val get to teach seminary at your house? Yea! A calling Val can do, hopefully not in the church of the holy chemical!

No, we do have to teach at church.
It will probably be mostly me, but I am hoping that it will be better for him now. We have seemed to notice that on Sundays, if people are wearing perfume or cologne that it is much worse.
So I am going to just the kids not to wear any...just in case it is him that is teaching that day!
And yes...I loved being YW's President (most of the time)
