Oh what do you do in the summer time...

Well, knowing me and Brent it could be a zillion things, which is precisely how our day started. A meeting with a member of the stake presidency, helping a family move in, possibly swimming in a lake, planting some fruit trees Brent purchased a few weeks ago, finishing our garden boxes, etc... So, what DID we actually do???

Got called to be Elders Quarum President - check
Helped a new family move in- check
went to a neighbors yard sale
found a sweet deal ($10) on a pool with filter system
decided to clear some land and put it up
put down a quick patio in order to keep pool cleaner (only had the bricks for a year or two)....
Working on our kids fort out back with the neighbors who gave it to us

Oh well, the best laid plans, right? We ended up having a great day even if our plans and our Million projects changed a few times!

The question is - did you get any of those projects finished?
The patio looks great, and your kids will really enjoy that pool!
As for the new calling - say goodbye to Brent! Guess it's a good thing we have free long distance.....

Amen sister! And no, does a project ever have to really be finished to call it a project? I think the work PRO-JECT implies the finish is always looming...at least that is what we think!

Sounds like an exhausting and successful day to me!

So, where did this patio and pool get set up? I can't tell from the picture. Don't you wish you had not JUST moved that pile of bricks!

Andra, it is set up right next to the back of the house, beside the back porch There were just a bunch of weeds there. So, there was a pile of bricks there too that we had to move and I used those to make the "patio"

looks like so much fun for your kids & a great place for you to sit & rest!

btw--I really don't think EQP is that bad. Meetings on Sunday, sure, but that happens with a lot of callings...

And the great thing about ADHD (just kidding) is that as soon as you start a new project, you forget about the old one!!! So it doesn't bother you anymore! I am so glad to be on the blog because it has been a while since the big transponder blew in Medina damaging our computer and perhaps the internet connection too. More on that later!!!!
