New Apostle

I was almost positive I would be the newest apostle. Self assessment, apparently, isn't the only criteria.

Sorry, I had to be the first to comment on a blog.

Grant, we all feel you would have been an outstanding apostle since you got passed over for the 1st Presidency.

Thanks, Grant. I feel the same way about you.

You know grant, I have felt the same desire to comment first on my own post before but always managed to slay that desire. Glad to see I'm not alone in that.

Grant, you are very funny. It is strange though. I secretly thought that you were ready for the 70 at least. I didnt want to freak you out by telling you about my revelation for you, but I guess we were both wrong. It's great to have you as a brother though :)

Behold, thine post demostrateth thy need for scripturifically purified language. Verily, this lackification of scripture-ready utterances may be the reason ye were not callified.

vall, is that like cauliflower?

Yeah, Grant, You are definitely ready, since being able to stuff another person 63 different ways in hand to hand combat is now a requirement for being one of the twelve. I mean look at those new guys. Bednar??? Uchdorf??? You KNOW they could take you! They look totally spriritually tough!!!!

I was going to post about the new apostle but you beat me to it, Grant. Do any of you (ok, this really means sisters and not brethren I'm sure) remember my wonderful babysitter who that watched the triplets one day a week when they were 1 and 2? The one who got bit badly by the dog next door when Russ & I went on a cruise? Well--the new apostle is her father in law! He came to visit several times while his son was here for law school. We just about died of shock--we *know* the new apostle!

watching triplets for anyone is a sure sign that you are an "apostle ready" family!!!! But if Grant had made it we ALL would have known one. Good going grant.
