Fun in Smithfield

While it is definitely not Wood Dale Drive, it DOES have a "pond" down the road and it also has 2 rope swings attached to trees that the kids really enjoyed. Those who were too young to swing tried really hard to fill the canal with rocks, one at a time. Thanks, Dad and Ramona for making our visit so enjoyable! May the babies sleep better next time we come visit!

Isn't Grandma and Grandpa's new house so much fun? (And not to mention close!) We had a great time there this past Sunday as well, and heard all about the fun times you had on your visit. Now if only I could convince MY parents to move closer...

Well, the boating on the "pond" looks like something we never did on Wood Dale, and the swing looks a lot like something I heard of on the farm. What a great place to visit!

I'm going to the Council of Writing Program Administrators (WPA) conference this weekend and have to finish writing my presentation...and now I have a sinus infection!

Amber,
I feel for you. I am just getting over a sinus infection also! My doctor offered me a steroid injection that at first I turned down but after being in so much pain and nothing helping quickly I got it. If you need a quick recovery you might want to ask about it.

Hey Jeannie- how long did it take to start working? I'm almost willing to try anything!

Amber,
after the steroid shot it was only about 4 hours till the pressure started releasing! I know it wasn't the antibiotic because it wouldn't have worked that fast!
I still have to take it easy even after several days, but that first day was a killer!
