Well folks, it's a done deal. We closed on the sale of the house today at noon. We were expecting it to happen on Friday morning, but the attorney called us this morning at 10:30 and told us to be in Asheville by noon. So we dropped what we were doing (cleaning out cupboards and packing boxes) and hurried to Asheville. An hour later we were done.
It's all over now but the screaming. We've got to really hustle to get everything finished by Saturday morning when the crew will be here to load the trucks. Our goal is to have everything but furniture in the garage ready to load when they arrive.
