Ya hew! Yee Haw! We get to have a real weddin ho-down! Congratulations Cindy Lynn! I though maybe something like this might happen. Once you are at an 8 or 9 it is hard not to get to the 10!!!

You know, Ben, this could make me feel old. You're getting ready to have your 2nd kid, I'm getting ready to marry my 1st one off!

And now Andra will understand why we were trying to figure out what our future son-in-law should call us!

jeremy, you are sick. Leave the girl alone. IF she can be in this family and get married WITHOUT a "talk" then she will probably be the happiest

But Lai, I have this really great metaphor from dad I was hopin to use. Lol!!!!

NOT with your own niece. You save that one for 1)siblings, 2) very close friends, or 3)complete strangers

Congratulations Cindy Lynn! Hope your catch is just as good as all of ours have been!
Strange to be handing the wedding torch to a whole new generation.
Jeremy, Aren't you glad you got married first?

somestratt said...

Wow, I am glad that Jeremy got married first. Jer, you didn't even make it by a year! Of course, Cindy Lynn is only what, 5 years younger than you. That is about right in the spectrum.

as to Laila. Indeed that metaphor should be burned. To Andra yes quite glad we I got married first. I woulda had to weep had cindy loo boo got married before me.

Thanks everyone for the congrats. And um... I think I'll skip the talk.

Jer, be careful about what you say regarding your Dad's metaphor and "burning" it! Perish the thought!

Cindy Lynn, speaking of metaphors, I think the picture of balancing on the railroad tracks is a PERFECT metaphor for marriage. What think ye, family?

It was so good to have you here this weekend. A great way to say goodbye to the old homestead! We loved it!

If grandpa aproaches Mahon with that "john watson has something to say" look in his eyes. . .grab Mahon and RUN!!!!

I agree with the balancing on the railroad tracks being the perfect metaphor for marriage! Including the occasional terrifying oncoming train!!!! I love all the railroad pictures and i think you could use any of them in the announcement. I would just include a closeup of both of you somewhere. Because the lookage of Mahon is still a mystery.

No way... we're taking actual engagement pics on the beach in 3 weeks. How could it be a real Watson wedding announcement if it didn't have pics taken on the beach?!?!?!

somestratt said...

You mean real "cindy" pictures don't you!!! I know, I have beach pics of my own. JK

Your reception waiting room video should be something like you and Mahon doing hand stand jumping jacks on the train tracks, or hang glider kick boxing or something. Full contact team golf is good, too.

Congratulations, CIndy Lynn! You know, thre's a bit of a funny story to how I found out about the whole engagement- glad to know now. And our engagement pictures were hardly taken at a beach. Actually, in a garage/studio in Rexburg. But Laila's I hear were really professional and carefully planned and executed, were they not, Laila?

cindy baldwin said...

Yeah, Amber, my mom told me about how you found out... we had a good laugh!

somestratt said...

So, how did Amber find out? And yes, Brent and I had some pro's (jeff and Amber) take our pics and they turned out great. Our adventures around Salt Lake were great too, especially the picture in front of the picture where I am paired with Jeff and Amber and Brent are together. I definitely think it has worked out better this way!

cindy baldwin said...

Yeah... staying away from incest is a good idea.

Amber found out when my mom sent an email around asking if she should reserve hotel rooms for anyone for the 21st in Rexburg. And Amber wrote back asking "why the 21st in Rexburg?" So my mom directed her here.

Free advice. Spend less than you make, collectively and individually. Encourage Matron to play computer games all the time, especially tactically accurate first-person shooters. Practice wrestling. You'll need it. Never assume you know where you are if Matrix doesn't. Don't ever profess greater driving skill, even though your Watson genes make it evolutionary fact. Don't over shower. Men love 3 - 7 days of body odor.

Congrats.
