Lintels for dinner. Not such a bad thing. Seven been soup. Baked potatoes. It is going to be ok. It is looking great. Feel the calming influence of beautiful wood and very sage green paint.

Marg,
Your kitchen looks so cool and soooo big! I bet you are really excited to cook in it! With this kind of kitchen, you may turn yourself into a gourmet cook!
My question: What is the purpose of the tall wood around the one window - the one where the utility sink used to be? It looks like one of them is to enclose in the gigantic fridge/freezer but I can't figure out the other one. Is it to protect you from the window?????
Dying of curiosity......

Ok, I know it is late & I should be in bed. Russ is so jet-lagged--he went to bed at 9.

Anyway, I'm LOL about the "protect you from the window" question!!

Unfortunately, my sense of humor takes a definately bob-esque turn when I get too tired (aka the last two months.....)

I don't get the lentil comment from Laila...but I love the new kitchen! It looks like it should be in an episode of "This Old House"- how they take an old kitchen and make it completely fabulous.
