Water bombs anyone

We had a great time when dad and Ramona or Grandpa "Doc" and Grandma "Monee" came to visit in May. Not only did we visit Valley Forge together, but we also had some fun right here at our hosue. Here is a video of a little bit of fun dad had with the boys. He and Hunter actually took on the project of making this bottle rocket and they played and played with it until they were pretty wet. Thank goodness for air compressers!

Maybe we can get Dad to do rockets with our kids. Of course, they would freeze, and probably land on windshields or neighbors horses worse. Maybe that is not the best winter activity. I think I will have him read to the kids. That is probably a whole lot safer.....

That looks like such fun! How did you make it?

Brent printed up a blue print from somewhere. Some teachers website. there are lots of them under soda bottle rockets, but we found that this one was exceptional because the bottle was on a long poll so that it was launched over people heads, you use a candle to expand the portion of the pipe where the bottle fits over to make a tight fit instead of using a rubber valve because they wear out. The instructions were simple enough that your Josh could do it as a project. If I can find the website I will let you know. Andra, reading is good, or maybe you can talk him into some 4 wheeling or sledding. Bombing horses sounds like fun too.
