Movie ideas, anyone??

Ok, the picture is just here for all of you to drool over--this was the entrance to our neighborhood yesterday morning. (You really need to click on the picture so that you can see it bigger.) The pear trees looked for weeks like they were going to have a blah fall, but at the last minute they've turned stunning.

What I really want, though, is some advice. (After you've drooled over the picture.) I like to try to give the LDS movie industry some financial support from time to time, so I want to buy some dvds for the kids for Christmas. So--any suggestions from you guys out there in LDS movie land? Any that you've seen & enjoyed, or seen & disliked? Help me please!!!

I am sure the golden compass is good, if we want to have that great downfall sooner than later...

ok, I am done now. Just saw the 3 book series (the golden c being the first) in Walmarat with other chirstmas books, and christmas choice hopefuls. Kinda chapped my hide

I am so bummed. I saw that there were 8 comments, and thought--wow--8 people have left movie recommendations. But no. It's just Laila's chapped hide.... ;)

We like the other side of heaven. Besides that nudie part, it is pretty good.

Or you could order Legacy and The Testaments from the distribution center

You know which one I really liked? The LDS Pride and Prejudice. Maybe it was a little corny, but I thought it was so cute and well-produced. Have you seen that one? I also liked Single's Ward- but haven't seen the second one yet.

Amber--thanks, but we already have the LDS pride & prejudice! The older kids love it....

Your kids like the Liken movies, don't they?
